Staff Training / Closure Dates

The practice is normally closed on the 2nd or 3rd Wednesday afternoon of each month for staff training. However, the Board may request closure on other dates to facilitate essential training.

Specialist Training GPs

Dr D McManus - will be with the practice from 1 December 2011 to 1 May 2012.

Dr H McGuckian - will be with the practice from 1 February 2012 to 1 August 2012.

Both Doctors are fully qualified and have been working with the hospital environment & are presently undertaking further training to work in General Practice.  You may be offered an appointment with the above doctors.

New Patient Registration

Patients are welcome to join the surgery if they live within a defined area of the practice. To join you will need your medical card which you should amend with any new details, sign and give to the reception staff along with a new patient questionnaire.

If you have ongoing medical needs or are on repeat medication you are advised to make an appointment with one of the doctors. This will enable the doctors to update your medical history and medication requirements prior to your notes being received from your previous doctor.

Practice Area

The practice area encompasses the Station Road, Greenisland, Shore Road to Whiteabbey Station Road, Doagh Road, Carntall Road joining the Irish Hill Road to Lisglass Road, Lower Woodburn Road, Middle Road, marshallstrown Road, Lower Beltoy Road, joining the Belfast Road at Eden and returning to Greenisland via the Shore Road.
